The Municipality of San Enrique, headed by Mayor Trixie Fernandez, was among the esteemed recipients at an awards ceremony hosted by the Office of the Vice President (OVP) on June 29, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu City.

The event honored over 1,000 partners from the private sector, government agencies, and key individuals from various regions across the country for their contributions to the implementation of OVP programs and projects.

In her speech, Vice President Sara “Inday” Duterte expressed heartfelt gratitude to the awardees for their dedication to public service and their efforts to uplift the lives of Filipinos. “We are given the opportunity to serve the people and become institutions that would help restore the people’s trust in our government through effective, relevant, and timely public service,” said VP Duterte.

The recognition ceremony, known as Pasidungog, is part of the OVP’s vision to be a dynamic partner institution in nation-building, aiming to create a lasting impact on every Filipino. The OVP looks forward to welcoming a new chapter of collaboration with its partner institutions, fueled by commitment and hope for the Filipino people and the Philippines.
